China Strengthen Ties by Signing Border Agreement with India
During a recent meet Chinese Premier Li Keqiang signed a border agreement with India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh which discussed that both countries have common interests and have the ability to settle and manage border disputes. Furthermore the agreement will make sure that stability and peace can be established at the border.
Experts say that the agreement can be considered a legal document that regulates both sides and assist in eliminating any misunderstanding and judgments by both countries. These countries were able to place their borders under control and are able to handle any situations. A fourth round of consultation is in the works in which china and India discuss and coordinate border affairs. Ways to further manage disputes in the China-India cooperation since both governments holds strong consensus in maintaining tranquility in the borders and both sides agreed to eliminate any rumors that are supplied by the media on the border issues. A memorandum was also signed in the cooperation that involves cross border rivers.
China will also strengthen is cooperation with India to assist in the construction on the country’s infrastructure from railways to roads and push development of the BCIM Economic Border involving four countries namely China, India Myanmar and Bangladesh.
The group’s first meet will happen in December and will be discussing the details on how to construct the economic corridor and its development.
