E-Commerce in China

China can lay claim to Asia’s, and perhaps the world’s, most active and comprehensive e-commerce. With the availability of almost any good to be bought online, it is important to understand how international businesses can fit into the puzzle.

Presented by SACS and hosted at Shekou International School last Thursday, October 24th, “E-Commerce in China” was a thought-provoking lecture on the complexities of e-commerce in today’s Chinese market. Distinguished speaker, Fabian Knopf, Senior Associate of Business Development with Dezan Shira & Associates, shared his professional knowledge and extensive experience with the ever-expanding Asian online market and what it means for international businesses today.

Established in 1992, Dezan Shira & Associates has grown into one of Asia’s most versatile full-service consultant specialists with offices located in China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Vietnam.
