X-TA-SEA Hosts Thanksgiving!
After a long stint of construction work around the Minghua Ship, X-TA-SEA has reopened its doors again! Aside from sporting a brand new look which includes a stained-glass bar ceiling, a state of the art sound system to increase your listening pleasure, and a larger-than-life LED display screen behind the stage, X-TA-SEA now offers great stage-views throughout the entire interior, VIP seating and rooms, and of course, the long-established pool table, live music, and excellent lunch & dinner menu.
We visited just shortly before the dinner hour to peruse the menu selections which include such Western treats as burgers, homemade soup and chili, Philly cheese steak, and a Chicken Parmesan sandwich which lays claim to be the best you’ll ever have in your life!! We enjoyed ice cold beer on tap and skillfully mixed drinks, at Happy Hour prices which are offered all day, every day, until 8pm.
X-TA-SEA opens at 11am for lunch time, and they offer their full menu until 2am, with several delivery options. Known for its excellent Western food, X-TA-SEA is one of the top restaurant/bars in the Shekou area. For those interested in trying out the menu, join them this week for a featured true Thanksgiving dinner buffet, with all the traditional items such as turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, dinner rolls, corn, and cranberry sauce. To top it all off, several delicious homemade pies will be offered for dessert! Family-oriented and all folks welcome, X-TA-SEA will offer the full Thanksgiving buffet from 6:00-9:00pm.
A staple in my Shekou evenings out on the town, X-TA-SEA is always a welcoming environment, with great staff, fun customers to chat with, and a lively band that plays six nights a week. They host an Open Mic on Monday evenings, and an acoustic set on Tuesday’s. Swing on by for delicious food and a wide variety of drinks, as you gear up for the live band and a guaranteed night of fun!
