Fans Eagerly Awaits China Mobile Release of its iPhone Lineup
Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of China Mobile deal to start offering Apple’s newest line of smart phones but the price will be the deciding factor whether the fans will be considering a purchase. China Mobile is one of the major telecommunication operators that announced that it has reached a deal with Apple to sell the iPhone 5S and 5C smart phones stating next year.
The new phones can run using the company’s 3G and 4G network and online phone reservations will start tomorrow. As of the moment iPhone smart phones that are purchases on the mainland using legal channels can’t use the 4G services of China Mobile. The two other domestic operators China Telecom and China Unicom are now offering the smart phones on contract prices but not under any 4G services. Several China Mobile outlets in Shenzhen are offering free upgrade for those who bought their iPhone 5S or 5C in Hong Kong.
Unlike the mainland cities such as Shenzhen the iPhone 5S is cheaper in Hong Kong and some users are still keen in buying iPhones in Hong Kong is China Mobile fails to deliver the smart phone in Shenzhen under a attract price.
China Mobile has yet to relase contract prices for the two models of the smart phones and is planning to charge a minimum monthly fee of 138 yuan to use its 4G services. Some find it much easier to buy the iPhone in Hong Kong but some are holding out for a few more days until China Mobile releases their contract prices before deciding on where to buy.
