Workers Rush to Finish Station in Time for Arrival of First High Speed Train
Construction workers are fast at working on finishing up on the greenery and public transportation facilities at the Pingshan Station in anticipation of the arrival of the first high speed train from Xiamen by tomorrow. Located in the center of the Pingshan New Are the station will the first stop in Shenzhen for inbound passengers’ taking the Xiamen-Shenzhen high speed rail line.
The Station’s north Square will have around 20 parking slots for 20 tour buses along with taxi and bicycle areas. th south square of the station can accommodate 177 vehicles and have access to terminal for the future line 12 of the Metro that is still under construction. There will be seven bus routes designated to carry passengers coming from the station to Longgang District, Longhua New Area and the Dapeng New Area.
The director for the general office of the Pingshan government Wang Weixiong sand that the district authorities are hoping to arrange regular trains to ply the routs that will link Pingshan Station with the Shenzhen North Railway Station together with the high speed trains.
