Robin Li the founder of the Baidu the largest internet search engine in China was formerly the richest person on the Chinese mainland now ranks third on the list, following Wang Jianlin a property tycoon who has an estimated net worth of US$ 12 billion or about US$100 million more than Li.
Hong Kong Billionaire Li Ka-shing is still Asia’s richest man after Bloomberg made a correction earlier that day which listed the Macau gambling tycoon Lui Che-woo with a fortune greater than Li with a personal wealth at US$29 billion. Lui’s wealth was corrected to US$23 billion just US$ billion behind Li.
