Shenzhen Construction Bank Opens First Intelligent Bank
China Construction Bank of Shenzhen has opened its first intelligent bank in central Futian. This will be the city’s first smart bank that has few traditional counters and will be encouraging its customers to complete banking transactions using electronic self service channels. Robots at the bank lobby answers questions near the terminal next to the robot that verifies the customers identification, create queues for services and handle other service functions.
The outlet is a full service intelligent bank that will combine traditional banking services with innovative technology that emphasize customer oriented service experience. Customers can swipe an identification card on to the device that will transmit information to teller which will save customers time in filling out forms manually. Customers can also use their mobile phones to pre file orders than complete their business after receipts and other related documents are printed out in the bank.
Staff working at the outlet’s electronic banking area will be around to help customers with the online transactions, while customers at the self service area can interact with a remote teller to open bank accounts, make payments, process electronic banking contracts and conduct other businesses. The bank will also be creating a mobile app that will allow customers in updating information on their finances, promote special offers and follow up investments. The bank mobile financing area will also allow customers to make flash and credit card payments.
Furthermore the bank’s street facing windows that uses augmented reality technology that uses facial recognition and motion capture to further enhance interactions with customers.
