Evolution of Culture Revolves Around the Younger Generation in ShenzhenThe culture in Shenzhen has evolved mainly around the youth living in Shenzhen. Everywhere you look there are a lot of young people in their twenties or thirties attracted to the jobs and all sorts of opportunities of all sorts found in the city. Everywhere you will be greeted by young people from restaurants, factories, shops even the police. Some say it’s not what development and improvements done with building roadways or shop, but how the city itself changed culturally.

There is an unstoppable eagerness of people dealing with business, people are eager to please you and ensure that you can do business well in the city. This eagerness can be seen in restaurants, hotels, shops with politeness that is utterly genuine. The drive to be successful is a force that you can find behind most people who wants to succeed. Everyone here have the willingness to serve and to ensure that you’re happy and satisfied.

Not only the Chinese people are attracted to work in Shenzhen on a full time basis, but a large diversity of people coming from China, Hong Kong, Philippines with businessmen from Japan, the United States and even Europe doing business in Shenzhen, occupying major luxury hotels and find time to be entertained in the many karaoke bars and massage parlors found in the city.

People from all over China are employed in factories and most of their employees usually can’t wait for the New Year to arrive so they can go home and celebrate in their home town for at least ten days. Some find that this is the only time that they have the opportunity and the money to go home. Trains are crowded with people rushing to get home and the population in Shenzhen decrease dramatically during the ten days Chinese New Year. This annual exodus is very much a part of the modern Shenzhen culture.

The Shenzhen culture is Its a diverse mix, a refreshing change compared to the other cities found worldwide and not only home grown and traditional.
