More Countries to Implement Visa Free Entry to Chinese Tourists
Several local travel agencies has praised the proposed visa free and visa on arrival policies that was implemented by 45 countries for Chinese tourists saying that it’s a boom to outbound travel. The policy definitely lead to the growth in outbound travel and will see a orderly increase instead of a sharp one..
There are more than 45 countries that are implementing a visa free or a visa on arrival policy for Chinese tourists, but not every country has a complete tourism resource such as adequate hotels, air transport and quality tourism environment. Countries such as Sri Lanka and Thailand already implemented a landing visa policy for Chinese tourists and countries such as Indonesia and the Maldives adopted the visa on arrival policy, while San Marino and the Bahamas adopted the visa free policy. By instilling such policy tourists are encourages to visit due to the simplified procedures for visa application.
Implementing a visa free and visa on arrival policy will push the growth in the individual or self guided trips thus leading more tourists to arrange their own trips by themselves rather than having travel agencies do it for them. Agencies are predicting an increase in Chinese tourists to Thailand after both countries was signed a bilateral visa exemption agreement later this year.
