Bureau Releases Beneficial Packages for Educational InstitutionsThe city education authority recently announced a series of beneficial packages for its local schools as primary and middle schools students that started a new semester as of yesterday. The packages include increase in public school seats, allowances to elementary school teachers and tightening food safety management in cafeterias.

The municipal education bureau is also setting up an education affairs center that will assist local students and parents with any education related formalities. The center will be integrated scattered education services in one central location. A staff from the center said that it will be located at the Shenzhen No. 1 Vocational School of Technology in Futian and will provide services such as information for teachers, school registration management national education loans, education certificate confirmation and education information.

Furthermore in efforts in promoting balanced development among different schools, principals and teachers will be exchanging positions in local schools during the start of the second half of 2014. Public and private schools are also expected to pair off to further maximize educational resources. The educational bureau is also planning to purchase 6,000 educational videos that cover several major areas of primary and junior high school curriculum to facilitate online study.
