Shenzhen Police Promotes Reservation Services for Vehicle Related BusinessesThe city traffic police stated that the department is now promoting reservation services for vehicle related businesses in the city ranging from license plates registration, car registration, appointment for resolving accidents and traffic violations. Drivers can make the reservations through WeChat and through the department’s official website. Police will also offer these reservations for vehicle reservations later on this year once logistics are finalized.

The expanded services are part of the ten measures that the city police planning to do this year to further improve services and relieve traffic congestion and reduce accidents in parts of the city. Police will also continue to offer towing services for free for vehicles that break down or were involved in accidents on local roads but not on expressways. Plans to install 200 self service terminals at police stations in every district, vehicle administration centers, government service halls and vehicle inspection stations to assist residents in processing violations.

These terminals can handle payments for traffic violations that are captured by monitoring cameras and involves fines of no more than 200 yuan this also include violations made in Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen and involves  200 yuan in fines and six penalty points and violations in Shenzhen involving more than 200 yuan and less than six penalty points.
