Moscow University to Open A Campus in Shenzhen
The Lomonosov Moscow State University is setting up a comprehensive university in the city based on an agreement that was signed with the Shenzhen Municipal Government. Established in 1755 the Moscow State University is one of the oldest and largest comprehensive university in Russia, will be focusing on adopting the teaching styles of the Moscow University and will confer diplomas in both schools.
Study in the initial fields will include subjects on science and technology, computer science and math. Classes are taught in Russian, English and Chinese. Chinese students will be given one year of language study together with a short term exchanges at the Moscow State University and teachers from the university will be coming to Shenzhen to teach at the comprehensive university.
The city’s achievements along with its development especially in the high tech fields are one of the key factors in the decision to open a Moscow University in Shenzhen. To be eligible Chinese students are required to take the China National College Entrance Examinations and score thresholds will be decided by the university and the Ministry of Education.
