Fair Promotes New Products and Services along with Business Cooperation
Around a hundred corporate and individual innovators here in China and abroad are now demonstrating new products and services while seeking business cooperation during a two day creative event that ended today in Shekou. In 2006 the Maker Faire started in the US is an event organized by people that are interested in experimentation and innovation in the fields of engineering, performance arts and craft and science which enables them to showcase and share their works.
The Maker Faire was co-organized by CSDN, Leiphone.com and Seeed Studio. The fair is said to be the largest gathering of do it yourself professionals and hobbyists and it’s the first the city has hosted such an event. Shenzhen residents enjoyed looking at new innovative products and were also able to experience the latest technologies at the fair.
Several technologies that were presented in the fair and it something to look forward to is the new remote control technology developed for cameras. The new remote technology will allow people to shout in front of their cameras to take their picture. Called the triggertrap which users can download for free allows them to connect their phone to any camera
Another technology is a smart bicycle handlebar that has a built in SIM card with Bluetooth and GPS capabilities that allows the rider to connect their mobile phones wirelessly to the handlebar and gather navigation information.
