City Increases Higher Learning Profile by Incorporating Elite Schools in China
The city is planning to increase its status profile of international higher learning by joining with three of the elite educational institutes in China. on Monday the Shenzhen Municipal Government has ratified cooperative contracts with the China Academy of Engineering Physics, Astronaut Center of China and the Harbin Institute of Technology. The goal is to create a Shenzhen base that will cultivate talent and create breakthroughs in technology and hopefully realize tangible and important results in the new area of research.
The international academy for space technology will be now a reality as the forces of the HIT, ACC and the Shenzhen Municipal Government will be joined together with the aim of cultivating great talent that is backed by cutting edge technology in the fields of astronautics. Shenzhen Mayor Xu Qin stated during a contract signing that the cooperation combines the advantages of three participant resources which are the top educational resources of HIT, the technological strength and platform of the ACC and the innovation oriented market of the special economic zone in Shenzhen.
Xu also said that the move will promote the development of higher education in china and improve the innovation ability in the field of aerospace and expediting commercial technological innovations. This will also upgrade of higher education in Shenzhen and at the same time transform the city into a base of innovation.
To further deeper the cooperation with the Harbin Institute of Technology, the Shenzhen graduate school will incorporate itself to the Harbin Institute of Technology. The Shenzhen campus is cultivating talent with a global vision and entrepreneurial leadership. Furthermore the advantages is gained in the university preponderant subjects, specialties in high demand and strategic emerging industries.
