Hospitals to Get Online Health Management CenterThe city will soon be launched a online health management center that will assist residents in suing their mobile phones in making appointments, communicate with proper medical personnel and follow up on their health profiles and reports. The public hospital administration said that the system is open to the public once the trial on a small selected population will be finished.

Hospital administration also said that they are planning to introduce a health email service that will collaborate with the branch of Shenzhen Mobile, in which residents can sign a consent form with hospitals in subscribing to it electronic health reports along with other medical information that they can request through emails. A trial email service is already in the works at the Shenzhen People’s Hospital, Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Shenzhen No. 2 People’s Hospital, and Peking University Shenzhen Hospital. The service covers all other public hospitals around the city before the year ends.

Also Shenzhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital has launched its own WeChat account, wherein Shenzhen residents can make appointments, make payments and follow up on their medical reports. The Shenzhen Eye Hospital and the Shenzhen Women and Children’s Hospital is also working on creating its own WeChat accounts as well.
