London to Work on Creating More Cooperation with Shenzhen in Different Fields
Several officials from UNESCO and in London have expressed their intentions to help strengthen cooperation with Shenzhen in fields that is beneficial to the city. According to Hans D’Orville the assistant director general for strategic planning for UNESCO during a meet with Shenzhen’s publicity head Wang Jingsheng that both entities will continue to do cultural cooperation that will help the city in various ways.
D’Orville who has been to Shenzhen several times now stated that Shenzhen is one major player and contributor of soft power to China. in October last year UNESCO has named Shenzhen a global model to the promotion of reading which bestowed the honorary title of recognizing the city’s continuous effort in improving the residents literacy. Furthermore the London is moving forward in the technology businesses, medical research businesses that are in the same as Shenzhen so by improving cooperation, these things can be worked on.
More and more Chinese nationals are coming to London either to study or to work so the relationship of both countries is strong. As younger generation are evolving new cultures, new ways on making and doing things, and ways of getting involved is so vast that both Shenzhen and London can work on
Shenzhen is also striving to become an international recognized and internationally developed metropolis which they say is a place where one wants to live in. an international city is also a place that have good jobs and has soft thing such as culture, parks, restaurants and open spaces making the city a perfect place to live in.
