City to Play Host to Third Charity Fair for Non-Governmental Organizations
The city opened the third China Charity Fair that will end on Sunday. The city will play host to more than 896 nongovernmental organizations which include 720 grass roots groups that will highlight their charitable projects at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center and hopefully seek investments.
The fair started in 2012 and called the highest level of charity fair in the country, the three day event showcases project exhibitions, seminars, project business matching and interactive experiences. The event will also center on eight themes ranging from disaster relief, environmental protection, poverty reduction, financial charity, education and community development. The exhibition offers online platforms for exhibitors in help them promote and build relationships with the proper investors.
Visitors can also have fun this year at the fair since it will be offering more than 70 interactive activities such as short films, pottery lessons and yoga programs. Parents can bring their children to participate in sand play or to play with guide dogs that help the blind.
