More Companies Looking for Rentals Across the City
Business equipped offices are picking up in Shenzhen with more foreign invested companies are looking for rentals that are cheap and are found near Hong Kong. Just like The Executive Office, one of the leading office rentals in Asia opened their second center in Shenzhen.
Its new office can be found in Kerry Center Plaza in the central business district. The center offers rentals of fully furnished office spaces with internet support, fax and telephone systems and a video conferencing and meeting rooms. And since its trial opening the center have already rented out more than 58 percent of space. The Executive Center first opened its office in 2008 at the Kerry Plaza during the economic crisis, but still around 98 percent of its space was rented out to mostly foreign invested enterprises.
Office rentals in Hong Kong are five to six times more expensive compared to Shenzhen. And since the city is close to Hong Kong, many Hong Kong companies were moving their offices to Shenzhen, thus providing a demand in high end offices in the city. Founded in 1994 the Executive Center has 47 offices in 18 cities located in landmark buildings such as the Shanghai International Finance Center and Taipei 101.
