Road Show Exposes Startup Companies to Investors
Startup companies that are planning to gain investment and shared business experiences during a road show last weekend in OCT Loft. The event was organized by BigSalad a company that focuses on organizing these types of road shows and investors ups, wherein opportunities are offered to both start ups and investors.
Around eight teams that are aiming to develop smartphones applications and products took turns in presenting their proposals during the road show the project presented were in various industries ranging from health care, education, tourism and entertainment. The road show also invited guest speakers such as Sha Xizhe the founder of KnewOne.com to share his experiences.
After the teams delivered their pitches, investors and the audience then voted for the best team. Among them voted for a team that created a wearable fitness device that enhances men’s sexual abilities, with the challenge to promote the product in a heavily regulated Chinese market and some voted for Kung Fu Travel, Daaters and Thermodo. Total there were 50 investors and 200 audience that participated in choosing the best team during the road show.
