Health Commission Launches Campaign to Improve Heath Care Services
The City’s health commission has recently launch a campaign in hopes to improve the health care services in the city by achieving nine goals, such as reducing the amount of antibiotics and increase the usage of online reservations for the next three years.
Hospitals are asked to make full use of the new technology that will give patients self service options that will reduce crowding at hospitals and lessen patients waiting time. The proportion of patients that are using online reservations is expected to increase more than 60 percent at third tiered hospitals and the use of antibiotics will also drop by 50 percent from current levels before 2018. These hospitals will also be offering a one stop service at waiting areas by offering wheelchairs, water, telephones and Wi-Fi.
the health commission will also be asking hospital to recognize examination results from other hospitals. Other hospitals are also encourage to protect their patients privacy better by allowing only one doctor and one patient inside the room one at a time.
The effectivity of the campaign will be monitored and evaluated regularly by asking patients and getting their opinions.
