China Southern to Open New International Routes from Shenzhen Airport
China Southern Airlines will be opening a direct flight from Shenzhen to Osaka, Japan as part of its latest effort in increasing their presence in the Northeast Asia Market. In the coming weeks China Southern will be adding two more international routes, one is will fly passengers to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and the other to Ibaraki, Japan.
Flight CZ8425 operates Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday leaving Shenzhen at 10:15 am and arrives Osaka 2:30 pm. The returning flight CZ8426 will leave Osaka at 3:30 pm and will arrive Shenzhen at 7:20 pm. To meet the demand of the summer holiday merrymakers, China Southern will also operate a flight going to Ibaraki on Saturday and Sunday. Ibaraki is 40 kilometers away from Tokyo and it major highlights are Fukuroda Falls and one of the second largest lake in Japan.
The flight to Ho Chi Minh City CZ8465 operates on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday departing Shenzhen at 5:45 pm arriving Ho Chi Minh by 7:30 pm. The return flight CZ8466 leaves Ho Chi Minh City at 8:30 pm and will arrive at Shenzhen 12:20 am the next day.
By opening this new routes will bring the total number of international routes of China Southern to 11 or 29 percent of the total international routes at the Shenzhen airport. The Shenzhen branch of China Southern expanded its overseas routes in the past two years and accounts for 12 percent of the routes operated by the airline.
