Shenzhen Chosen to Host Next Year’s Global IFA Event
Consumer Electronics China a Global IFA event will be held in Shenzhen next year with an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters. The original IFA trade shows, which is the largest consumer electronics exhibition that was first started in 1924 in Berlin. The Consumer Electronics China will he held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from April 10 to 22 next year. This annual exhibition will be the premier consumer electronics and home appliance trade show.
During a press conference in Berlin, Messe Berlin the organizer for the IFA Berlin have signed a Memorandum of Under standing with the Shenzhen Economy, Trade and Information Commission which choose Shenzhen as the host city for the Consumer Electronics China. Both Shenzhen and Berlin will benefit enormously from the closer trade cooperation and economic ties which will bring the global IFA event to Shenzhen is one major step in achieving the goal. Experts will be expecting more cooperation between Berlin and Shenzhen as Berlin became the city of creativity which is known for it’s thriving IT, digital economy and cultural industries while Shenzhen is a hub for global electronic brands.
Messe Berlin team came to Shenzhen several times since June to inspect and review the exhibition grounds and support facilities for the show. According to Dr. Christian Goke the chief executive of Messe Berlin, the IFA success will depend on the focus of brands, consumers and products, which adds to the quality, and the success of the IFA that is replicated in Shenzhen. The fair will allow electronic brands from China and around the world to highlights their latest products in a global platform.
