Hilton Shenzhen to Hold F&B Masters APAC
A team in Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai is busy in their efforts in perfecting some of their best dishes, desserts, coffee and wine pairing as they are preparing for the Hilton F&B Masters APAC. The Food and Beverage Master is held across five disciplines which are the Bar Cup, the Culinary Cup, the Barista Cup, the Sommelier Cup and lastly the Pastry Cup.
After two months of preparation and completion the finalists qualified to enter the South China region finals are Frank Chen, Ethan Fu, Ricky Wang, Julia Wang and Johnny Mei
The F&B Masters 2015 is an internal competition that discovers and celebrates extraordinary talents within the Hilton Brand Worldwide properties across Asia Pacific. The competition is about people development and give team members an opportunity in developing their skills and creativity in a variety of food and beverages disciplines that they are passionate about.
Hilton’s commitment to career development for team members doesn’t end after the competition as hotel team members are every level are given access to a world of opportunities to develop personally and professionally using the on the job training, management development programs, virtual courses and learning seminars. The F&B Masters was successfully held in Southeast Asia in 2014 across 24 hotels and with a growing momentum and interest. The competition is now extended across Asia Pacific where over 100 hotels are participating.
