Projects Launched which Involved Cutting Edge Technologies
The central government is launching a number of projects that will involve cutting edge technologies, high end equipment, Internet applications and key industries. Most of these projects will be included in the guidelines for China’s 13th Five Year Plan (2016-2020), the country’s overall development blueprint for the coming years.
Implementing the projects will allow China to gain strategic competitiveness and give better and more diversified services to the public. The government will also invest to improve urbanization, agriculture, Internet services, transportation infrastructure and environmental protection. The next five years will be crucial for China to build a moderately prosperous nation. If this step is fulfilled, China will then be able to circumvent the middle income trap, thus China should make sure that these guidelines are practical, target oriented and long sighted. The Communist Party of China Central Committee adopted late October a proposal that formulated the five year plan on a national economic and social development level that was aimed to build a moderately prosperous nation which will double the 2010 Gross Domestic Product and per capita income by 2020.
The premier stressed that the government continues to deepen the country’s overall reform in hopes to over come obstacles for socioeconomic development and justice, stating that startups and innovation should be supported to unleashed opportunities into the market. Plus the government is determined to rid poverty and make people the beneficiary of the nation’s development as innovative macroeconomic adjustments will be done to respond to economic downturns.
