Startup Conference to Host Participants from Twenty Countries
The largest startup conference for technology entrepreneurs in Eastern Europe is hosting over 12,000 participants, 2,000 startups and 700 investors coming from 20 countries. On Skolkovo’s traditional areas in IT, space technologies, energy efficiency technologies, bio-technologies, nuclear technologies plus a new program which includes a new category which is agricultural technologies.
That particular section will involve topics ranging from Genomic and Conventional Selection of Plants and Animals, Advanced Processing of Agro Raw Materials and Waste and Precision Agriculture. The program also includes sessions on future technologies that deal with gadgets or Big Mobile Revolution, including women in the innovation process of Womennovation and Innovation in railway Transport.
The additional programs this year sees an entire pavilion devoted to interaction between the science and art. All experts of modern art and science will be gathering in one place and talk about the amazing results that are produced by the synergy of artists and scientists. Key speaker for the program will be Dmitry Bulatov,a known artist and theorist of art and the curator of the National Center for Contemporary Art where works from the 49th and 50th Venice Biennials can be seen.
The most awaited event at the Startup Village 2016 is the Open International Championship Formula Drone that features FPV Drone Racing wherein multicopter owners can participate. A separate AR/ZR zone will be established to feature augmented and virtual reality. The startup village website also features a SV Partner service wherein startups and investors can arrange meeting during the event with filters to help them find the correct type of partner and pre-arrange a meeting.
