China Agreed to Jointly Launch Major Projects with Poland
China and Poland have agreed to launch major projects together and as soon as possible as part of the proposed Belt and Road Initiative that will help boost inter connectivity. Agreements on the action was signed by President Xi Jinping and his counterpart Andrzej Duda wherein the signed 13 documents that will boost the cooperation between the tow countries in the fields of logistics, customs, aviation and industrial parks.
After the signing Xi said that China welcomes Poland active participation on the Belt and Road initiative that is aimed to build a trade and infrastructure network that connects Asia with Europe and Africa along the old Silk Road trading routes. Base on the agreement, both countries will work on mapping out the development plans an jointly establish a online Silk Road to further boost information links, improve cooperation, facilitate customs procedures and infrastructure investment on logistics.
And since Poland is a member of the Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank, Xi is encouraging them to use the bank in financing infrastructure construction. Furthermore Xi said that the two countries must encourage their companies in cooperating especially in large projects that could mutually benefit the people. In a joint declaration that was signed by both presidents, both have agreed in upgrading the bilateral relationship into a comprehensive strategic partnership.
