2011 V8 Supercar series
With the Australian V8 Supercar 2011 series starting this weekend, I thought I would put up a quick review about the series in general.
Firstly for those in the know or don’t, Bahrain is off the 2011 calendar, and in return, it has return another race back to Australia, Perth will once again hit the Supercar calendar.
The rounds are as follows
Abu Dhabi: 10-12 Feb
Adelaide: 17-20 Mar
Hamilton: 15-17 Apr
Perth: 29-01 May
Winton: 20-22 May
Darwin: 17-19 Jun
Townsville: 08-10 Jul
Ipswich: 19-21 Aug
Phillip Island: 16-18 Sep
Bathurst: 06-09 Oct
Gold Coast: 21-23 Oct
Simmons Plains: 11-13 Nov
Sandown: 18-20 Nov
Sydney: 02-04 Dec
Last year my home town hero, Jame Courtney won the overall champion ship by only 65 points!! Good luck to him this year.
