City Innovations in Cultural Industry Impressess Reporters

International Reporters Impressed by Shenzhen's Innovations in the Cultural IndustryInternational reporters that recently visited cultural center, design parks and offices of leading enterprises in a three day tour of Shenzhen praised the city’s thriving cultural and design industries. In May Shenzhen was voted as one of the ten most innovative Chinese cities based on an online campaign by China Radio International.

The delegation of reporters came from Austria, Poland, Finland, Russia and Turkey along with representatives from the China Radio International. The delegation visited art and design galleries, a creative park in OCT, Shenzhen Book City, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Park and several offices of design companies and Huawei Technologies Co.

The president of China Radio International, Fan Jianping said that he was impressed by the efforts that the city made to further promote the cultural industries, which he considered as a key in boosting the city cultural industries in enhancing public appreciation of culture and to further increase resident’s participation in cultural and creative activities.
